We actually have two winners! Both Stacey and Lisa made it to the 15% goal! Both worked very hard over the last week to get there. Stacey ended up with just a little bit higher percentage that Lisa. Since Lisa was the 5% winner, both agreed Stacey would be the 15% winner. Congrats to both!
This week, John Hess and Kevin Joyce were off and Jeff Kukulka did not have a chance to weigh in. John was a contender for the first to 15%, so it will be interesting to see how he does this Tuesday. Lisa and Stacey had amazing weight loss, so since John went on a cruise, I'm thinking he would not have beat them;-)
On the team front, we had team Purple really pull ahead to bump Gold and take second place. Team Yellow is first and Gold is in third with all three teams over 9%. Now that Deanna has given up her alcohol and started up counting her calories and workouts again, I'm thinking team Purple is a contender for the team prize!

Overall, we did much better this week with only five contestants gaining weight and an overall 19.6 lbs on the week and 336.4 lbs since beginning. We did several waist measurements and everyone lost inches - some losing over 7"! I can't wait to see what the final results are. I suspect that John Hess, Stacey, and Lisa will be competing for that challenge.
At lunch this week, we discussed keeping WMBL going after the finale in May. We tentatively came up with taking the pot from the week-to-week weight gain and using that as the prize. Maybe we could go for two or three month increments with a smaller entry fee (maybe $5?). I'm opening to feedback on how to proceed. I'd be happy to keep the website alive and do weekly weigh-ins - maybe we can get some new competitors?!?
